About the role

This remote Data Analyst role at AICines.ai focuses on turning platform and product data into actionable insights that support strategic and operational decisions. On a day-to-day basis, the role involves collecting, cleaning, and analyzing user behavior, content performance, and monetization metrics across the AICines ecosystem.

Responsibilities

• Build dashboards and reports for product, engineering, and business teams.
• Identify trends and opportunities for growth.
• Support experimentation through A/B testing and data-driven recommendations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to define KPIs, optimize workflows, and contribute to forecasting and performance measurement in a fast-paced AI and media startup environment.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills and data analytics experience, with the ability to interpret complex datasets and derive clear, actionable insights.
• Proficiency in statistics and statistical reasoning, including experience with hypothesis testing, trend analysis, and basic forecasting.
• Experience in data modeling and working with structured and unstructured data, preferably using modern data tools or platforms.
• Effective communication skills, including the ability to present findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders in a clear, concise manner.
• Working knowledge of SQL and at least one analytics or scripting language (e.g., Python, R) and familiarity with BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker).
• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field such as Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience in tech, media, or AI-driven products is beneficial; prior work in startup environments or the creator/streaming economy is a plus.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage multiple priorities, and collaborate across product, engineering, and business teams.
