Data Analyst
Pay rate: $60.70 - $60.70/hr. Non-exempt positions are eligible for overtime at a rate of 1.5 times the base hourly rate for all hours worked in excess of 40 in a work week, or as required by state or local law.
About the role
This position supports the People Analytics team and is responsible for providing key insights through the analysis of data. These analyses equip the Electronics America HR (People Team) and business leaders across the enterprise with a better understanding of workforce trends and the impact of HR programs, helping leaders make informed, evidence-based decisions.
Responsibilities
- Supports execution of Annual and Quarterly Analytics plans to enable the 3-year HR strategy and annual Action plan.
- Provides consistent tracking and analysis of key performance metrics to deliver actionable insights to business leaders.
- Integrates business performance and market forecasting into workforce planning to align headcount allocation with business growth priorities.
- Delivers regular reporting and data visualizations, including but not limited to:
- Workforce planning reports across business divisions
- Succession planning
- Leadership & Development reports
- Talent review data
- Workforce trend dashboards
- Analyzes, forecasts, and showcases the impact of HR programs on turnover, retention, and key measures throughout the employee lifecycle.
- Partners with Centers of Excellence and stakeholders to enhance organizational processes for business efficiency.
- Synthesizes and visualizes insights from data.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Business, Human Resources, or a related area of study and 2+ years of relevant experience is required OR Master’s in a related field with 1 year of relevant work experience.
- Advanced Excel skills and formulas are critical.
- Strong PowerPoint skills.
- Experience using data visualization tools including Tableau.
- Background in a non-HR job function is a plus but not required.
- Exceptional communication and written skills, with the ability to present findings to a non-technical audience.
- Knowledge of at least one of the following: Python, R, SQL.
- Knowledge of Alteryx.
- Strong understanding of statistical methods and their application in the business context.
- Demonstrated ability to approach ad-hoc reports and translate them into complex data with actionable insights.

- Strong mathematical skills including statistics, modeling, forecasting, financial planning, and risk management capabilities.
