About the role

NEW ERA Diving Services Limited Partnership is hiring an entry-level Data Analyst. In this position, you will assist with data preparation, reporting, and the interpretation of business information, bringing a careful and organized approach to assigned work. Relevant projects and study are welcome evidence of your skills. You do not need prior full-time analyst experience to apply. Routine reporting needs careful review. You will check refreshed figures against source information and raise discrepancies that require clarification.

Responsibilities

• Refresh routine reports and dashboard inputs, then verify the calculations and reporting period.
• Identify changes between reporting periods and bring unexpected results to the appropriate colleague for review.
• Document data sources, calculation methods, and limitations so others can understand your work.
• Clarify reporting requests with colleagues and communicate findings in straightforward language.
• Organize and clean datasets, checking for missing values, duplicate records, and inconsistent formatting.
• Use spreadsheets and basic SQL queries to summarize information and answer defined questions.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with Excel or Google Sheets, including formulas, filters, and pivot tables.
• Basic SQL knowledge, including selecting, filtering, and grouping records.
• A careful approach to checking data and resolving discrepancies.
• The ability to explain findings without overstating what the data supports.
• Clear written communication and the ability to organize assigned tasks remotely.
• Exposure to Power BI, Tableau, or another visualization tool is helpful but not required.

Pay

The annual base-salary range for this position is $60,000-$80,000 USD.
