Data Analyst — LayerLab 3D Studio Location: Remote — United States Employment: Full time Base salary: $78,000–$108,000 per year Role Overview The Data Analyst will turn business and operational information into dependable reports and useful insights. This role focuses on checking source data, defining consistent metrics, identifying trends, and communicating findings that teams can act on. Key Responsibilities Prepare, clean, and reconcile data from approved sources before using it in analysis or recurring reports.Build and maintain reports, dashboards, and performance metrics with documented definitions and calculation methods.Use SQL, spreadsheets, and suitable reporting tools to investigate trends, outliers, and data-quality issues.Check results against source records and investigate inconsistencies before sharing conclusions.Explain findings in clear business language, including limitations and assumptions that could affect decisions.Maintain organized documentation for queries, report updates, data sources, and quality checks.Work with stakeholders to clarify reporting requests, priorities, and deadlines. Qualifications Hands-on ability to analyze structured data and verify its completeness and accuracy.Working knowledge of SQL and Excel or equivalent analytical tools.Ability to create clear reports or dashboards and explain what the numbers mean.Careful documentation practices and sound judgment when information is incomplete.Strong written communication and dependable collaboration in a remote environment.
