Data Analyst Associate
Job Summary
This position provides critical support for the quality, validity, and integrity of confidential data to use in decision-making and organizational efficiency improvement initiatives. Incumbent provides analysis of quantitative and qualitative data from internal and/or external data sources to support business decisions. Supports compensation cycles (e.g., merit, bonus) by preparing data files, validating inputs, and assisting with system configuration. Performs and audits compensation-related transactions in Workday, including job changes, pay adjustments, and organizational updates. Testing, researching, and reporting of anomalous data findings and validation of extracted data is necessary to be successful and effective in this role.

Provides critical support for data quality and integrity, supports compensation cycles, and performs data analysis and auditing tasks in Workday.
Responsibilities
- Analyzes data to develop reports, dashboards, metrics, or insights and identify trends or anomalies.
- Affords assistance or serves on special projects as requested.
- Affords assistance to users or decision-makers to identify data sources, required data elements, and/or data validation standards.
- Integrates data from multiple data sources or functional areas, ensuring data accuracy and integrity, and updating data as needed.
Requirements
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Math, Business, Data Science/Informatics, Actuarial Science, Healthcare Management, or other related field. Alternatively, five (5) years' health-related, non-clerical experience with an insurance, managed care, or healthcare technology-related organization.
- Experience: Previous experience in business analysis, data analysis, or systems analysis preferred. Previous experience with data management and analysis tools including but not limited to MS Access, SAS, R, S+, SQL, or Cognos preferred. Excel Expert certification preferred. Power BI Certification desirable. Previous Workday experience desirable.
