Data Analyst Associate

About the role

CLA is currently seeking a Data Analyst Associate to join our growing Data team. In this role, you’ll create opportunities by using the Microsoft Power Platform or a scripting language to clean up data for analysis and/or visual display in a report or dashboard. You’ll also work out details regarding data access to support projects under general guidance.

Responsibilities

• Data Analysis: Participate in the collection and analysis of data using a variety of data tools. Support the building and implementing of solutions for external clients and internal projects alongside the Data Analytics team. Assess the effectiveness and accuracy of new data sources and data gathering techniques.
• Data Development: Gain exposure to developing custom data models and algorithms to apply to data sets under the guidance of Data Analytics team members. Work with predictive analytics, machine learning, and artificial intelligence techniques. Use existing processes and tools to monitor and analyze solution performance and accuracy, then communicate findings to team members and end users.
• Seamless Client Service: Develop a comprehensive understanding of CLA's range of services to provide clients with integrated and seamless service offerings.

Requirements

• No prior experience is required; 1 year of experience is preferred.
• Experience with APIs, web scraping, SQL/no-SQL databases, and cloud-based data solutions is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is required. A combination of relevant experience, education, and training may be accepted in lieu of a degree.
• Degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, Analytics, or Data Science (e.g., Informatics, Data Science, Health Data Science) is preferred.
