Data Analyst 2
Overview
About this Position: Data Analyst 2 will lead/support multiple key initiatives and create actionable analytical insights.
Responsibilities
- Support all phases of data collection and assessment for reporting and delivery
- Query and analyze data using tools such as SQL, Python, Palantir Foundry and others as required
- Create reports, presentations, and visual dashboards in support of department or business operations
- Support analytic projects that align with R&D initiatives across multiple departments within life insurance operations
- Afford assistance with data strategy objectives
- Regularly present and provide insights to senior leadership
- Exhibit excellent diagnostic skills to analyze and identify discrepancies within data sets and identify solutions
- Show a resilient work ethic with the capability to adapt to the situation
- Be self-motivated and willing to take ownership
- Be capable of working independently on multiple projects to meet deadlines
- Handle ambiguity while striving for clarity
- Communicate effectively across diverse audiences
Qualifications
- Expertise in quantitative data analysis methods and data mining
- Strong strategic thinking skills with the ability to translate trends and analyses into actionable recommendations
- The ability to work under pressure, navigate through ambiguity, draw linkages and balance multiple priorities
- The ability to pivot strategy and process according to business needs
- Strong executive presence and collaborative/interpersonal skills
- The ability to align projects with company objectives and discuss actionable insights with stakeholders

Pay
Salary range between $90K - $105K Annually

Hybrid Role: 1-2 Days in Duluth Office
