Data Account Manager

INNOCEAN USA, a full-service advertising agency located in Huntington Beach, CA, is searching for a Data Account Manager to join our growing Genesis team! This is a contract role through the end of 2026 with potential to be extended into 2027. NO third party vendors, please. We are a hybrid work environment, x3 days week in-office. Candidates must be local to SoCal. OVERVIEW:The Data Account Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management of the client’s automotive data infrastructure and identity resolution initiatives, website campaigns, and ensuring that the agency delivers quality work on time and within budget. This role needs to have experience in a (digital) agency or client services environment. The successful candidate should possess strong client management skills including, but not limited to, leading presentations, trouble-shooting problems, and critical thinking. They should be solutions oriented and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining excellent organization and poise. The candidate should have working-knowledge of identity resolution, data security principles and customer data management. The ideal candidate will also have experience running RFI / RFPs and is familiar with corporate procurments processes. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Work with the client daily to identify needs and expectationsProvide frequent and detailed updates to Account leadership to flag potential issues and proactively problem solve.Work closely with Data Science, Analytics, and Engineering to access and define timelines, goals, and manage progress.Identify key stakeholders and disseminate information as necessaryPresent/communicate progress and outcome of projects to clients and determine best next stepsFacilitate internal and client reviews, update status documents, legal routing, contact reports, and meeting coordinationShow solid knowledge of the client’s business (including pricing, product, sales, marketing channels, strategies, and competitive landscape)Oversee the efforts of junior staff QUALIFICATIONS:6-8 years of experience in a client services function within a Digital Marketing, Advertising or Business-related field.Must have working-knowledge of identity resolution, data security principles and customer data management.Knowledgeable in MS software, Word, Power Point, and ExcelStrong presentation and communication skillStrong project management skills and ability to develop and implement new processesAbility to stay organized and manage multiple projects efficientlyMotivated team playerAbility to assess a situation and make sound judgment calls / recommendationsFoster positive relationships with clients, external partners, and internal teamsKnow how to wear many “hats” BENEFITS:Access to our health benefitsPaid sick days401k matchOn-site BaristaBeautiful campus across from the Pacific Ocean The salary range for this role is $100,000 - $130,000. Pay is dependent upon several factors including but not limited to: client, experience, training and/or transferable skills. Who are we?
