About the role
A full-time special education DAPE (1.0 FTE) teaching position is available. Applicants must hold an appropriate MN DAPE teaching license. Salary and benefits are based on the current Teacher Contract 189 days.
Responsibilities
- Provide instruction to students with disabilities in accordance with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Collaborate with other special education teachers, general education teachers, and related service providers to develop and implement effective educational plans.
- Assess student progress and adjust instructional strategies accordingly.
- Participate in IEP meetings and other professional development activities.
Requirements
- MN DAPE teaching license.
- Bachelor's degree in special education or related field.
- Experience working with students with disabilities.
Qualifications
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues.
- Knowledge of applicable state and federal laws.
Skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in using technology for lesson planning and assessment.
- Ability to manage time effectively.
