Dance Instructor

About the role

We are growing! Fred Astaire Dance Studios® is excited to be adding to our team of professional dance instructors. We are currently hiring for Dance Instructor.

Responsibilities

• Conduct private and group dance classes throughout the week.
• Help students reach their personal dance goals in many different ways - from a single event to a lifelong journey of dance growth.
• Enhance people's lives every day by meeting and working closely with people from all walks of life.
• Host and attend events on some weekday evenings and weekends with your students.

Requirements

• Self-motivated, enthusiastic, and 100% passionate about dance.
• Outstanding customer service skills.
• Understanding what it takes to be successful and being willing to commit to the work.
• Unselfish team player who eagerly accepts coaching and feedback for improvement.
• A positive outlook - the cup is always half full.
• Establish exceptional physical fitness/endurance levels to perform this role successfully.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with students of all ages.

Pay

Salary commensurate with experience.

Schedule

Regular studio hours throughout the week; however, we host many events on some weekday evenings and some weekends as well.
