Dance Instructor
Job Summary
We're seeking a Dance Instructor to lead our fitness classes. The ideal candidate must be enthusiastic about group exercise classes and enjoy creating and delivering new, fresh, and innovative routines. They should be confident in their professionalism, reporting on-time with a positive attitude and a passion to motivate others. They need to be a collaborative and flexible leader both in and out of the studio.
Responsibilities
- Lead successful group exercise classes
- Create and deliver new, fresh, and innovative dance routines
- Motivate participants and foster a positive class atmosphere
- Collaborate with other instructors and staff to enhance class offerings
- Adapt to changing class sizes and participant needs
Qualifications
- Minimum of one year of experience actively leading successful group exercise classes
- Current nationally accredited group exercise certification (e.g. AFAA, ACE, ACSM, NETA)
- Instructors teaching licensed/branded formats (e.g. Zumba, Yoga) must also be trained and licensed to teach those specific formats
- CPR/AED certification (First Aid certification is strongly desired)
Pay & Benefits
The compensation for this position ranges from $20.00/unit to $125.00/unit, depending on factors including site location, specialty, certifications, and work experience as well as other business needs.
