Damage Analysis Technician - Entry Level

Responsibilities

  • Fully disassemble vehicles according to the repair plan and extent of damages.
  • Identify and document all damages related to the facts of loss.
  • Properly organize parts carts and bolt bins to ensure efficient workflow.
  • Work directly with estimators to review and communicate supplemental damages.
  • Identify and resolve parts required for repair; review repair orders, work orders, and Body Shop Manager’s notes; notify supervisor of any repair add-ons.
  • Maintain current knowledge of job and technical skills, including manufacturer repair processes.
  • Advise body shop estimator of additional damage or supplemental needs, or if repairs will not be completed on time.

Qualifications

  • Entry-level position; prior collision repair or disassembly experience preferred but not required.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify damages accurately.
  • Organizational skills to manage parts carts, bolt bins, and repair documentation.
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with estimators and team members.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
