About the role
The Daily Living Support Specialist (DLSS) carries out services that focus on the specific needs of adults with behavioral health diagnoses. The DLSS will monitor the consumers' ability to function independently in their home and community while assisting them to maintain their safety and emotional well-being. This position requires travel within a 30-mile radius of your home and transporting clients within their communities.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the client’s plan of care drives all service activities
- Ensure the safety of clients while in their homes and community
- Attend and participate in a minimum of four hours per month of clinical supervision
- Accumulate a minimum of 20 hours of training annually
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Proof of vehicle insurance at $50K/$100K and a valid Maine driver’s license
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Entry-level computer experience and access to email/internet
- MHRT/1 certification (free training provided)
