About the Role

As a da Vinci Digital Sales Manager (DSM), you will play a pivotal role in accelerating the adoption of Intuitive’s cutting-edge digital ecosystem while building and leading a high-performing sales organization. In this highly visible leadership role, you will develop and execute strategic growth initiatives, coach and inspire top sales talent, and partner cross-functionally to expand customer engagement with Intuitive’s digital solutions. By helping surgeons and healthcare organizations unlock the power of data, simulation, and connectivity, you will directly contribute to advancing surgical education, performance, and patient outcomes.

Our digital portfolio includes My Intuitive+, which can enhance a robotic-assisted surgery program with AI-powered video analysis, real-time surgical collaboration, and console-integrated simulation—all designed to help surgeons sharpen their skills. The My Intuitive+ platform is available exclusively with da Vinci 5.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and Lead a High-Performing Team – Recruit, develop, and coach a world-class Digital Sales team focused on accelerating pipeline growth, customer acquisition, and market expansion.
  • Drive Strategic Growth – Design and execute innovative sales strategies that increase adoption, utilization, and long-term customer success across Intuitive's digital portfolio.
  • Deliver Commercial Excellence – Establish clear performance goals, track key metrics, and drive accountability to achieve sustained revenue growth and business success.
  • Align and Influence Across the Organization – Partner with field sales and corporate stakeholders to ensure strategic market alignment, effective lead prioritization, and seamless execution.
  • Collaborate Across Functions – Work closely with Marketing, Product Management, Clinical, and Operations teams to identify growth opportunities and optimize go-to-market initiatives.
  • Champion Innovation and Change – Lead training, adoption, and change management efforts for new digital products and solutions.
  • Advocate for Customers – Serve as a trusted voice of the customer, translating feedback into actionable insights that enhance product development and user experience.
  • Optimize Business Performance – Oversee territory planning, forecasting, reporting, and operational compliance to support scalable growth.

Qualifications

Candidates must reside in or be willing to relocate to a major city in the Western U.S. with access to a major airport, such as Phoenix, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle, Denver, or Salt Lake City.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of sales experience, including 2+ years in medical sales leadership (direct experience managing salespeople is required).
  • Experience in healthcare technology, medical devices, or enterprise software preferred.
  • Proven success in strategic account management and cross-functional project leadership.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and consultative selling skills.
  • Ability to travel up to 75%; field selling and surgical area access required.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience with IDNs and strategic customer growth.
  • Familiarity with digital product adoption and customer success strategies.
  • Remote work, but requires some field selling.
  • Able to travel up to 75%, some short notice travel required.
  • Able to enter surgical and other patient care areas.

Pay

The target pay rate for this position is $232,500. We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay + commission, benefits and equity.

Schedule

Remote - This job will be remote and/or the job is designed to be performed outside of the office. Employees will come onsite when requested by the leader. Day shift.
