D365 Business Central Product Owner & Team Lead :: Remote

About the Role

Seeking a Senior D365 Business Central Product Owner & Team Lead to own the roadmap, architecture, technical delivery, and team leadership for an on-premises Business Central/NAV environment.

Responsibilities

• Own BC product roadmap, priorities, upgrades, enhancements, and releases.
• Lead and manage BC functional, development, and admin teams.
• Serve as the technical/functional SME for on-premises Business Central.
• Write and optimize SQL/T-SQL queries against BC databases.
• Manage BC architecture, SQL Server, NST/Service Tier, Web Client, REST/OData integrations.
• Support AL extensions, customizations, testing, and production deployments.
• Provide functional expertise across Finance, Sales, Purchasing, Inventory, AP/AR, GL, and Fixed Assets.
• Lead troubleshooting, performance tuning, upgrades, and change management.
• Partner with finance, operations, IT, Microsoft, and third-party vendors.
• Mentor team members and manage hiring, performance, development, and delivery.

Requirements

• 8+ years D365 Business Central/NAV experience.
• 3+ years as Product Owner, Team Lead, Solution Architect, or Lead Consultant.
• 3+ years managing/leading technical or functional teams.
• Strong on-premises Business Central/NAV architecture experience.
• Advanced SQL/T-SQL and BC database knowledge.
• Experience with SSMS, PowerShell/BC Administration Shell, VS Code, and AL.
• Strong knowledge of core Business Central functional modules.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
