Program Overview
River Edge is seeking a Full-Time Scheduler to join their Centralized Scheduling team. This role involves managing client scheduling, verifying insurance and financial records, and ensuring timely coordination of services.
Key Responsibilities
- Answer incoming phone calls professionally and direct calls or schedule appointments as needed.
- Schedule all doctor appointments, outpatient visits, group sessions, and community support services within the client’s appropriate service area.
- Verify client records for accuracy, including authorization, connections, treatment plans, intake assessments, and annual updates.
- Confirm that clients have a current financial application, completed registration, and an up-to-date ANSA or CANS assessment on file.
Qualifications
- A High School Diploma or GED is required.
- At least one (1) year of relevant scheduling or administrative experience is required.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
