D2 S2 LICENSED JOURNEYMAN: COMMERCIAL HVAC CONSTRUCTION

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on commercial HVAC systems
• Troubleshoot and repair air conditioning, refrigeration, and heating systems
• Assist with diagnosing electrical and mechanical issues
• Communicate with dispatch on job progress and scheduling
• Complete service reports and documentation
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and professional appearance

Requirements

• D2 / S2 license required
• 2+ years of HVAC service or maintenance experience (construction install preferred, but not required)
• Basic knowledge of refrigeration cycles and HVAC systems
• Ability to use gauges, meters, and diagnostic tools
• Ability to read basic wiring diagrams and schematics
• Valid driver’s license
• Current OSHA License (in CT, OSHA expires 5 years after issue)
• EPA certification (or ability to obtain)
