D104 - Adult MH Crisis - RN Night Supervisor

About the role

Serving more than 10,000 Georgians, River Edge continues to be one of the state's leading resources for mental health, substance use disorder treatments and supports as well as individuals with intellectual and development disabilities. River Edge offers outpatient services at our Emery Highway-Macon, Monroe County and Baldwin County locations. Outpatient services include behavioral health, nursing, and psychiatric assessment, stabilization and medication maintenance services as well as crisis intervention services as well as awareness, education and recovery groups.

Responsibilities

• Supervise nightly operations of nursing staff and adjust staffing patterns based on patient census and care needs.
• Complete physical and mental health assessments and develop individualized patient care plans.
• Administer and monitor treatment regimens and prescribed medications under appropriate medical supervision.
• Observe, document, and report behavioral and clinical changes in patients.
• Maintain strict control and accountability of medications.

Requirements

• Active Georgia RN license in good standing.
• Minimum 3 years of nursing experience, with at least 1 year in psychiatric care.
• Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in a nursing setting.
• Familiarity with CARF or Joint Commission standards.
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills; experience working with healthcare bargaining units preferred.

Qualifications
