River Edge offers outpatient services at our Emery Highway-Macon, Monroe County, and Baldwin County locations. Outpatient services include behavioral health, nursing, and psychiatric assessment, stabilization, medication maintenance, crisis intervention, and awareness, education, and recovery groups.
About the role
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our multidisciplinary team in delivering compassionate, client-centered care in a fast-paced, high-impact environment at The Recovery Center. We provide a critical alternative to inpatient hospitalization, offering walk-in outpatient services 24/7, a 23-hour observation unit, residential psychiatric stabilization, and medically monitored detox services.
Responsibilities
- Assess client health problems and develop individualized care plans.
- Deliver direct nursing care to clients in crisis, including those with mental health and substance use challenges.
- Administer medications (oral, sublingual, IV) and monitor their effects.
Requirements
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Georgia.
- Minimum of one (1) year of professional nursing experience.
- CPR and First Aid certification required.
Schedule
36 hours per week, 3-12 hour shifts (7:00 pm - 7:00 am) Sunday-Saturday, including every other weekend.
