About the role

River Edge Behavioral Health serves more than 10,000 Georgians with mental health, substance use disorder treatments, and supports for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. We offer outpatient services at Emery Highway-Macon, Monroe County, and Baldwin County locations.

Responsibilities

• Maintains client safety and security
• Monitors vital signs and communicates findings to nursing staff
• Aids in personal hygiene tasks such as bathing, grooming, shaving, and dressing
• Prepares clients for medical treatments or examinations as directed
• Facilitates recreational and social activities for clients
• Observes and documents patient data, behavior, and activities
• Ensures the secure environment conducive to treatment
• Supports clients in developing daily living skills

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• At least one (1) year working with behavioral health clients (mental health, substance abuse, developmental disabilities)

• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to observe and document patient data

Pay

The pay for this position is commensurate with experience.

Schedule

The schedule entails three (3) 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, totaling 36 hours per week, with work required every other weekend.
