About the role

The Cashier/Expo is a team member of the Front of House responsible for superior customer satisfaction through positive customer management in greeting, menu guidance, payment processing, loyalty benefits, and ensuring core values are carried out through execution. The role reports directly to the assigned Shift Leader and General Manager, executing policies, procedures, and direction provided by leadership. The Cashier/Expo must successfully complete General Team Member Training Certification and Cashier/Expo Training Certification. Fluency in English is required to communicate effectively with customers, vendors, and leadership. Professional dress, speech, and behavior are mandatory at all times.

Responsibilities

• Professionally and enthusiastically greet customers, guide them through the menu, and process orders efficiently with a friendly, positive attitude aligned with company core values
• Maintain superior knowledge of the entire menu, including ingredients, modifications, allergens, and upcharge costs
• Field inside, drive-thru, and phone orders
• Operate a Point of Sale (POS) system, accurately reconcile daily checkouts, sales, tips, and credit cards
• Perform cash handling procedures correctly at all times
• Abide by policies and procedures for comps, voids, employee food, and customer loyalty programs
• Complete position primary and secondary responsibilities as well as daily duties at a superior level
• Address customer complaints and report to Shift Leader and/or General Manager
• Perform table touches to ensure order accuracy, food quality, refills, and guest satisfaction
• Keep company passwords and intellectual property confidential
• Demonstrate a positive, helpful attitude and present professional conduct and appearance at all times
• Use, implement, and adhere to all company policies, procedures, systems, and processes
• Maintain regular and predictable attendance with scheduled working hours ranging from Sunday to Saturday, 5:30 AM to 5:30 PM, and shifts ranging from 4 to 8 hours in length

• High school graduate

• Basic math and computer skills
• Successful completion of General Team Member Training Certification

• Availability to work on weekends
• Reliable transportation
