Responsibilities
- Have a full understanding of the menu to answer any questions.
- Responsible for the set-up of linen, silver, glassware and china for scheduled events.
- Monitor tables closely and be attentive to guests' needs.
- Clear empty plates and glasses from tables and place them in side stations.
- Adhere to and practice all safety standards.
- Take pride in the overall appearance of the event.
- Aid co-workers as needed.
- Perform all side work duties assigned by the supervisor.
- Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of all areas.
Qualifications
- Previous food server experience for at least 6 months.
- Effective communication skills in English, both verbal and written, in a professional manner.
- A neat and professional appearance with good hygiene.
- Ability to interact with customers, public, and co-workers.
- Teamwork with other staff members.
- Flexibility to work various shifts including nights, weekends (Friday through Sundays), holidays, overtime when needed.
- Ability to work New Year’s Eve and Super Bowl.
- Ability to stand and walk for entire hour shifts.
Physical, Mental And Environmental Demands
- Fast-paced, high-volume environment involving constant public interaction.
- Requires carrying serving trays weighing up to 15 lbs. and may require lifting bus tubs weighing up to 40 lbs.
- Shifts may vary based on business needs.
- Must be able to tolerate secondary tobacco smoke.
