Responsibilities
- Apply the compression temperature/pressure method to fill various high-pressure cylinders, including Industrial, Medical, and mixed gases.
- Operate and safely maintain equipment for pumping or repackaging gases into cylinders.
- Perform all required pre-fill and post-fill inspections and verify safety through tests before cylinders are released.
- Attend to the condition of cylinders—ensuring those requiring maintenance or repair are set aside for care until they are ready for use.
- Regularly inspect and maintain pumping apparatus and associated pressure gauges and monitoring devices to ensure reliable operation.
- Fill cylinders or containers to the target pressure or weight, whichever is appropriate.
- Avoidance of any violations of local, state, and federal regulations regarding cylinder filling.
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks and/or trailers as a valued part of the logistics flow.
- Support the team with inventory and general housekeeping, and provide support to customers when necessary.
Requirements
- Candidates must have valid employment authorization in the U.S. and must not require visa sponsorship now or in the future. This position is not open for non-immigrant visa sponsorship.
- Ability to perform very heavy work - routinely lifts 25 - 75 lbs., and occasionally lifts 76 to greater than 100 lbs. with the aid of a lifting device.
- Ability to read and comprehend all written and computer generated documentation.
- The ability to operate forklift and become forklift certified.
Qualifications
- Highschool Diploma or equivalent
- Prior forklift experience preferred

Pay
The hourly base pay range for this position in Colorado is $21.50 - $22.00. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Airgas considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 6:00 am to 2:30 pm
