Production Operator - Gas Cylinder Filling

About the role

You will be responsible for minimal database maintenance, generating cylinder labels and Certificates of Analysis (CoAs) for production batches, and performing data entry and filing to support operational workflow. You will load and unload gas cylinders and other products on and off route trucks and trailers. You will also prepare cylinders by painting and scraping, fill customer orders, label cylinders properly, prepare valves, and maintain and clean work areas. You will complete shipping documents and verify accurate processing of customer orders. You will operate a forklift proficiently to move cylinders and materials as needed, and move cylinders via handcarts, handling weights up to 300 pounds.

What makes you great

• High School Diploma or GED
• Communicate clearly and effectively in all work situations
• Cylinder and/or gas handling experience preferred
• Forklift operation experience is a plus
• Ability to work in a production area requiring standing, bending, stooping, and/or lifting for extended periods throughout the day
• Exhibit a strong work ethic with good attendance and professional attitude
• Able to lift 40 plus pounds without assistance
• Pass a respirator fit test to use a half mask for painting work
• Must be able to pass Multi Modal Training (DOT 49 CFR, IMDG & IATA)
• Basic computer skills are an advantage
• Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed
