Cybersecurity Project Manager

Location: Columbus, OH or Barclay Heights, NJ (5 days a week)

Duration: 8 month contract to hire

About the role

We are seeking a Cybersecurity Project Manager with 5-7 years of project management experience managing the full lifecycle for multiple projects within a global enterprise, collaborating with cross-functional teams across international locations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain appropriate project and program artifacts (e.g., dashboards, status reports, stakeholder register, communication plan) in a collaborative and self-directed manner.
• Deliver projects within budget and specified timeframes while ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Apply proven problem-solving skills from problem assessment to solution selection, including identifying alternatives and making contingency plans.
• Quickly establish and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders to ensure a valid vision and deliver value consistent with business strategy.
• Embrace change and adapt to new situations, changes in direction, and altering priorities.
• Thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while handling multiple projects, programs, and other assigned work.
• Perform duties under limited supervision, applying broad knowledge of project management principles, practices, and procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 5-7 years of project management experience within a global enterprise.
• PMP or equivalent project management certification.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, especially Microsoft Project.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience managing Cybersecurity, Application Development, and Infrastructure projects.
• 8 years of successful experience managing medium to large projects; 3-5 years managing programs.
• Experience working in Cybersecurity.
• Working knowledge of Clarity PPM and JIRA.
• Financial Services industry experience.

Pay

$70–80/hour
