Cybersecurity Entra ID L3

Location: Jersey City, NJ (Onsite). Rate: $46/hr on W2. Required experience: 8+ years overall in IAM, with minimum 5+ years at L3 level.

About the role

Cybersecurity Entra ID L3 position focused on designing, implementing, and optimizing identity and access management solutions using Azure Entra ID, including SSO/MFA, hybrid environments, and application integration.

Responsibilities

• 5+ years of experience in IAM implementation.
• Design and implement end-to-end Entra ID solution to meet the unique identity and access management needs of the client.
• Hands on experience in migrating to Azure tool.
• Prepare technical project plans and project resourcing.
• Evaluate and optimize existing identity and access management systems, including Entra ID integration and on‑premises solutions.
• Stay informed about the latest Entra ID features, security best practices, and industry trends to ensure clients' solutions are cutting‑edge and secure.
• Works closely with project manager and engagement manager to identify key IAM (SSO/MFA) technical requirements, prioritize requirements, catalog requirements, and assign them to project use cases and sprints.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of Azure Environment PaaS, IaaS and experience in working with Hybrid model.
• Knowledge in Azure Power Shell scripting for deploying the Resources.
• In Depth knowledge & experience to support application integration with Entra ID and migration from other tool to Entra ID (SSO/MFA).
• Knowledge of procedure and flows of Open ID connect, SAML, OAuth.
• Hands On knowledge of API integration with Azure for Authentication.
• Troubleshooting & Debugging problems.
• Experience with multi-factor authentication technologies and access management.
• Familiarity with concepts of migration, deployments and integrations of IAM solutions within the cloud.
• In‑depth experience with some or all of the following technologies: Entra ID, SSO, MFA, FIM/MIM, Active Directory.
• Exposure to Entra ID Conditional Access Policy.
• Knowledge on configuration of Office 365 and Entra ID in a hybrid authentication.
• Exposure To Active Directory Federated Services Management.
• Azure Active Directory PIM and other Identity and Access Management solutions is a plus.
• Configuring applications with Entra ID Proxy.
• Knowledge of adding protection to Entra ID Administrator account.
• Knowledge of technology trends and developments in the areas of IAM, and knowledge and experience with formal security and control framework.
• Good experience in LDAP, SSL, Java / J2EE, RDBMS and Linux.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/ IT or any relevant fields.
• Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate (good to have).
• Microsoft Azure Security Engineer AZ‑900 Azure Fundamentals (good to have).
