W2- Cybersecurity Entra ID L3

About the role

Cybersecurity Entra ID L3 position based in Jersey City, NJ (onsite). Requires 8+ years of overall IAM experience with a minimum of 5+ years at L3 level in Identity and Access Management.

Responsibilities

• 5+ years of experience in IAM implementation.
• Design and implement end-to-end Entra ID solution to meet the unique identity and access management needs of the client.
• Hands‑on experience in migrating to Azure tool.
• Prepare technical project plans and project resourcing.
• Evaluate and optimize existing identity and access management systems, including Entra ID integration and on‑premises solutions.
• Stay informed about the latest Entra ID features, security best practices, and industry trends to ensure clients’ solutions are cutting‑edge and secure.
• Work closely with project manager and engagement manager to identify key IAM (SSO/MFA) technical requirements, prioritize requirements, catalog requirements, and assign them to project use cases and sprints.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of Azure Environment PaaS, IaaS and experience working with hybrid models.
• Knowledge of Azure PowerShell scripting for deploying resources.
• In‑depth knowledge and experience supporting application integration with Entra ID and migration from other tools to Entra ID (SSO/MFA).
• Knowledge of OpenID Connect, SAML, and OAuth procedures and flows.
• Hands‑on knowledge of API integration with Azure for authentication.
• Troubleshooting and debugging problems.
• Experience with multi‑factor authentication technologies and access management.
• Familiarity with concepts of migration, deployments, and integrations of IAM solutions within the cloud.
• In‑depth experience with some or all of the following technologies: Entra ID, SSO, MFA, FIM/MIM, Active Directory.
• Exposure to Entra ID Conditional Access Policy.
• Knowledge of configuring Office 365 and Entra ID in a hybrid authentication.
• Exposure to Active Directory Federated Services Management.
• Azure Active Directory PIM and other Identity and Access Management solutions (a plus).
• Configuring applications with Entra ID Proxy.
• Knowledge of adding protection to Entra ID Administrator account.
• Knowledge of technology trends and developments in IAM, and experience with formal security and control frameworks.
• Good experience in LDAP, SSL, Java/J2EE, RDBMS, and Linux.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IT, or any relevant field.
• Certifications (good to have): Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate; Microsoft Azure Security Engineer AZ‑900 Azure Fundamentals.
