The Cybersecurity Engineering Specialist III - ECDS plays a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining cybersecurity solutions for a leading technology firm. This position requires a deep understanding of network security protocols, threat intelligence, and the ability to develop secure software systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement secure network architectures and protocols
• Conduct security assessments and vulnerability analyses
• Develop and maintain secure software systems
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
• Stay updated with the latest cybersecurity trends and technologies

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field
• Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in cybersecurity engineering
• Experience with network security protocols such as SSL/TLS, IPSec, and SSH
• Knowledge of common security tools and frameworks like Nmap, Wireshark, and Nessus
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Qualifications

• CISSP certification preferred
• Experience with cloud-based security solutions
• Hands-on experience with scripting languages such as Python or Bash
• Experience with DevSecOps practices
