Cybersecurity Communication Specialist

About the role

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Presentation Producer / Communications Specialist to support the development of executive-ready materials and strategic visual storytelling. This role transforms complex cybersecurity and technical content into clear, concise, and compelling presentations and standardized templates tailored for senior leadership audiences.

Responsibilities

• Design, enhance, and maintain high-quality PowerPoint templates and presentations for executive scorecards, dashboards, and leadership reporting.
• Partner with cybersecurity and IT leaders to translate technical updates, risks, and progress into clear, impactful storytelling and visual narratives.
• Ensure consistency in branding, formatting, tone, and messaging across all executive communications.
• Perform detailed quality reviews to ensure accuracy, clarity, and executive-level readiness of all materials.
• Proactively identify content gaps or opportunities to improve clarity and effectiveness.
• Assist with documentation and preparation of knowledge transfer materials as needed.
• Lead enterprise-wide communication projects and campaigns, ensuring alignment with business goals.
• Manage internal and external communication strategies, crisis communications, and corporate messaging.
• Utilize analytics to measure communication effectiveness and adjust strategies as needed.
• Serve as an advisor to business unit leadership on communications best practices and reputation management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related field (Journalism, Communication, Marketing, Liberal Arts, Public Relations, Advertising, etc.) required.
• 11-15 years of experience in strategic communications, corporate messaging, and stakeholder engagement.
• 5+ years of experience in executive communications, content creation, presentation production, visual communications, or a related field.
• Proven experience developing materials for senior leaders and executive audiences.

Skills

• Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint with demonstrated expertise in executive-level visual storytelling.
• Strong ability to synthesize complex technical, cybersecurity, or program information into clear, business-focused messaging.
• Experience collaborating effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders in a matrixed environment.
• Strong attention to detail, quality, and consistency across all deliverables.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet tight deadlines, and work independently with minimal direction.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong editorial mindset.
• Agile interpersonal skills with the ability to manage leadership and subject matter experts concisely.
• Media relations and/or executive presentation skills (preferred).
