A leading clean energy company operating an Advanced Cyberdefence Center dedicated to protecting critical infrastructure.
About the role
Cybersecurity Analyst position within the Threat Detection and Incident Response team. This role performs ongoing cybersecurity monitoring as part of a 24/7 CSOC, responding to and triaging alerts from various security tools including IPS, EDR, Phishing, AV, and SIEM.
Responsibilities
- Administer, operate, and monitor information security sensors, logging, alerting, and other detection mechanisms to identify and respond to threats
- Triage, contain, and eradicate threats to organizational assets and data as part of the Cybersecurity Incident Response Team
- Act as subject matter expert for one or multiple assigned cybersecurity technology stacks (e.g., SIEM, network intrusion detection and prevention, host-based security, OT monitoring tools)
- Collaborate with security architecture to identify, evaluate, and recommend new security technologies for suitability within the environment and security posture
- Communicate ongoing cybersecurity activities, priorities, and risk measurements or mitigations at multiple organizational levels
- Provide guidance for security activities and requirements in the system development life cycle (SDLC) and application development efforts
- Participate in organizational projects as required
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Skills
- Required:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of business analysis methodologies and tools
- Understanding of IT systems and technologies
- Cybersecurity knowledge and exposure
- Preferred:
- Security+ or similar certification
- Internship or job experience in a cybersecurity role

3rd shift (10pm - 8am), Thursday - Sunday
