Responsibilities

  • Hardening operating systems, applications, and network devices
  • Conducting vulnerability scans
  • Continuous monitoring of the security posture of the system
  • Assisting with Government Certification Test and Evaluation (CT&E) and Vulnerability Testing
  • Implementing security updates and patches
  • Applying configuration changes to ESS, ACAS, and SolarWinds security tools
  • Maintaining the Certification and Accreditation (C&A) of the system to include support of the RMF package
  • Supporting system administrators, engineers, and operators when troubleshooting events
  • Collaborating with system stakeholders to ensure the cybersecurity posture of the system is maintained
  • Supporting the Security Impact Analysis (SIA) process through the generation of Contract Deliverables (CDRL) and RMF supporting artifacts both on unclassified and classified networks

Requirements

  • Demonstrable and relevant cybersecurity engineering or systems administration experience
  • Good working knowledge of Linux or Windows based systems
  • IAT Level II Certification or higher (e.g. CompTIA Security+ or CISSP)
  • Ability to obtain a Secret DoD security clearance prior to starting this position
  • US Citizenship required for consideration
  • Ability to travel up to 10% travel to our customer sites throughout the U.S.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in related field
  • Tenable Security Center, Tenable Nessus, Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) administration experience
  • Trellix and Endpoint Security Solution (ESS) administration and monitoring
  • SPLUNK tools experience
  • Linux/Red Hat or Windows OS certifications
  • Experience with Windows Active Directory and Group Policy maintenance
  • Familiarity with DISA Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG)
  • Good organizational and coordination skills
  • Strong communication skills and ability to support and collaborate with a team
  • Critical thinking skills to provide solutions to a variety of technical problems of moderate scope and complexity

Skills

  • Experience with ESS, ACAS, or SolarWinds security tools
  • Familiarity with DISA STIGs
  • Troubleshooting as a systems administrator

The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. Work schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five-day work week to non-standard 40-hour work weeks as assigned by leadership.
