Job Description

We are seeking experienced Cybersecurity Analysts for an on-site role in Tampa, FL. This position involves working on revolutionary systems that impact people's lives globally. The role follows a Panama schedule, which includes 12-hour shifts rotating between days and nights, providing a three-day weekend every other week. This position is contingent upon contract funding and award.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) tools, with a preference for Splunk, to analyze security data.
  • Develop and implement complex Splunk queries using SPL for proactive threat detection.
  • Design and maintain Splunk dashboards and reports for various stakeholders.
  • Configure and maintain Splunk infrastructure, including data inputs, parsing, and forwarders.
  • Leverage Splunk Enterprise Security for developing use cases and correlation searches.
  • Use Trellix/Endpoint Security Solutions (ESS) to detect and counter known threats.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Splunk and advise on security best practices.
  • Conduct in-depth investigations of security incidents, including root cause analysis and triage.
  • Document Splunk configurations, operational procedures, and security findings.
  • Stay current with the latest cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and industry trends.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree is required.
  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience is required. Candidates with an Active TS/SCI clearance are highly preferred for this position, must be able to obtain a Top Secret /SCI clearance.
  • Experience with a Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) tool, a working knowledge of network security controls (routers, switches, firewalls), and familiarity with Linux and Windows Operating Systems. Knowledge of vulnerabilities, threat detection, and encryption is also required.
