Designs, develops, and implements leading-edge analytical and technical methodologies, tools, and policies/standards to ensure a cyber-secure environment.
Responsibilities
- Applies advanced principles, theories, and concepts.
- Contributes to the development of innovative principles and ideas.
- Works on unusually complex problems and provides solutions that are highly creative.
- Provides advice and counsel to the organization in area of expertise.
- Uses strategies and technologies to safeguard sensitive information from unauthorized access, corruption, loss, or misuse. Ensures the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of data throughout its lifecycle, whether it's stored, transmitted, or processed.
- Proficient in applying configuration management tools and practices to maintain system integrity, enforce secure baselines, and ensure alignment with federal cybersecurity requirements across all phases of the system lifecycle.
- Identifies, investigates, and escalates cybersecurity incidents, ensuring timely containment, resolution, and compliance with reporting protocols. Applies structured response methodologies to minimize impact and strengthen organizational resilience.
- Implements and manages security technologies, including monitoring tools, endpoint protection, IAM systems, vulnerability scanners, and threat intelligence platforms to enhance cybersecurity resilience.
- Understands NIST SP 800-37, 800-53, and CNSSI 1253 for system authorization.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and 10+ years of related professional experience.
- Active DoD IAM and/or IAT Level III, Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), or Security+.
- Active TS SCI w/Polygraph security clearance required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree with 12 years of experience or Master's Degree with 10 years experience.
- Degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Assurance, Information Security System Engineering, or related discipline from an accredited college or University.

Pay
Salary Range: $148,300.00 - $266,900.00
