About The Role We are seeking a highly skilled Lead IT Identity & Access Management (IAM) Engineer to join our Cyber Security team, based in Atlanta, GA, with potential remote flexibility. In this pivotal role, you will leverage your extensive experience in designing, implementing, and supporting Identity Governance & Administration (IGA) solutions to enhance Smurfit Westrock’s security posture. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams across the organization to deploy and maintain IAM services that align with our cybersecurity strategies, ensuring robust protection of digital identities and access protocols. Your expertise will contribute to modernizing our access control frameworks, implementing role-based access controls, and supporting identity lifecycle management processes, thereby safeguarding our enterprise systems from emerging threats. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in IT, Cybersecurity, or related field8-10 years of professional experience in IT with a focus on Identity Governance Administration (IGA) and security practicesHands-on experience with at least two IGA solutions such as SailPoint, Saviynt, One Identity, or similar platformsProficiency in designing, configuring, and supporting IAM solutions including SailPoint Identity Security Cloud (ISC/IdentityNow), BeyondTrust, Okta, Ping Federate, or Microsoft Azure ADStrong knowledge of Identity Lifecycle Management, onboarding/offboarding, and access provisioning/de-provisioning processesUnderstanding of Active Directory, Single Sign-On (SSO), and modern authentication protocols like SAML, OpenID Connect, and OAuthExperience with scripting languages such as JavaScript, Python, Ruby, PowerShellSolid understanding of Java, XML, SQL, and related technologiesMinimum 4 years of experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS), including EC2 and LambdaRelevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CRISC, or CISA are a plusExcellent communication skills, capable of engaging with both technical teams and executive leadershipAbility to manage risk programs and contribute to IT architecture planningWillingness to travel up to 30%, with flexibility for increased travel during project ramp-up phasesProficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Project)Self-motivated, results-oriented, with strong attention to detail and analytical skills Responsibilities Provide technical support for IAM applications, including deployment, configuration, and ongoing maintenance of IGA solutionsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and enhance identity and access management processes and security practicesSupport the integration and support of multiple IAM platforms such as SailPoint, Saviynt, BeyondTrust, Okta, and othersDesign, implement, and maintain robust identity lifecycle management processes, including onboarding, offboarding, and access de-provisioningDevelop and support role-based access control (RBAC) frameworks and birthright provisioning mechanisms to enforce the principle of least privilegeConduct root cause analysis of access issues and recommend improvements to IAM processesAssist in analyzing user and permission data, developing test cases, and ensuring compliance with governance workflowsModernize access control protocols, including implementing federated identities, multi-factor authentication, and single sign-on solutionsDocument all IAM configurations, procedures, and workflows to ensure consistency and complianceParticipate in risk management activities and contribute to IT security architecture planningStay current with emerging security threats and IAM technologies to proactively update security measures Benefits Competitive salary package aligned with experience and skillsComprehensive training and professional development opportunitiesInclusive corporate culture emphasizing loyalty, integrity, and respectHealth, dental, and vision insurance plansRetirement savings plans and wellness programsOpportunities for career advancement within a global organizationFlexible work arrangements, including potential remote work options Equal Opportunity Smurfit Westrock is an equal opportunity employer.
