What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)

• Monitor all platforms for security incidents and respond promptly
• Lead incident response efforts, focusing on safeguarding Protected Health Information (PHI)
• Analyze logs, forensic data, and network traffic within a healthcare IT environment
• Collaborate with various stakeholders to assess risk and remediate vulnerabilities
• Document incident response actions for compliance and audit purposes

What Is Required (Qualifications)

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, IT, or a related field; or equivalent experience
• 3+ years of experience in a SOC, incident response, or health IT cybersecurity role
• Proven experience with EDR tools and SIEM solutions in healthcare environments
• Familiarity with HIPAA and healthcare risk management practices
• Strong communication and teamwork skills, with availability for a 24/7 on-call rotation

How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

• Relevant certifications such as CISSP or CEH
• 5+ years of relevant experience without a degree
