Cyber Security Analyst
About The Role
The Cyber Security Analyst at ScriptPro plays a vital role in safeguarding the company's systems, products, and customer data by supporting security and compliance initiatives across multiple frameworks. This individual will manage and track security projects, ensuring compliance with standards such as RMF, FedRAMP, PCI, HITRUST, ISO, and NIST. The role involves developing comprehensive documentation, preparing audit reports, and facilitating communication between internal teams and clients to ensure seamless execution of security measures. The analyst will assist in risk management, vulnerability assessments, continuous monitoring, and product security initiatives, contributing to maintaining a secure and compliant technology environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related discipline (preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, auditing, penetration testing, or related fields
- Proficiency with Microsoft Windows technology, Office Suite, and Teams
- Experience managing projects and documentation within security frameworks
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Highly collaborative with excellent interpersonal skills
- Motivated, adaptable, and capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Industry certifications such as Security+, CySA+, or equivalent
- Knowledge of ScriptPro products and development lifecycle
- Experience with government or Department of Defense IT security and clearances
Responsibilities
- Manage and track security and infrastructure projects, ensuring full lifecycle execution across multiple security frameworks including RMF, FedRAMP, PCI, HITRUST, ISO, and NIST
- Develop, maintain, and deliver comprehensive documentation for various teams and leadership
- Prepare and present monthly compliance and security KPI reports, audit readiness updates, and project status summaries
- Cook up security efforts by liaising between internal teams and external clients, ensuring clear communication and alignment
- Support security programs aligned with RMF steps, STIG compliance, SCAP scanning, and NIST 800-53/171 controls
- Contribute to FedRAMP authorization packages, SSP development, POA&M management, and continuous monitoring activities
- Aid in multi-framework compliance efforts including PCI DSS v4.0, HITRUST CSF, ISO 27001, OWASP Top 10, and IEC 62443
- Represent Information Assurance in meetings, resolving conflicts and guiding teams through ambiguity
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support overall security posture and compliance goals
