Position Responsibilities
- Acts as the Systems Administrator for Methode’s security systems
- Maintains continuous protection of internal and external environments through vulnerability assessments, incident response, and penetration testing coordination
- Monitors network security to include incident response and escalation
- Provides risk assessment and remediation recommendations
- Maintains accurate and current IT security related documentation
- Supports documentation, reporting, and project planning for security initiatives
- Collaborates with vendors, global teams, and internal stakeholders to implement security solutions
- Tracks remediation efforts and follows up on audits and assessments
- Supports project planning for upgrades and new implementations
- Creates and presents status reports and findings reports
- Provides technical guidance to staff
- Maintains operational processes to ensure global security standards are met
- Administers security systems hardware, software, and networks
- Works with vendors in a managed services or hosted environment
- Creates project plans for upgrades and new implementations

Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience with direct exposure and use of industry standard security principles and automated technologies
- Security Certification (examples - CISSP, CCSP, CompTIA Security +)
- Experience with Palo Alto, Sentinel One, Crowdstrike, Rapid 7, Proofpoint DLP
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Solid background in project coordination and oversight
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to maintain sensitive and confidential information as needed
- Experience working in a global environment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced multi-task environment
- Ability to interact effectively with peers and supervisors
- Exceptional customer face-forward type service skills
- Experience in procuring security services and vendor management
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required
