Responsibilities
- Review and evaluate System Security Plans (SSPs), System Security Authorization Agreements (SSAAs), systems and networks diagrams, Security Requirements Traceability Matrices (SRTMs), Risk Assessments, and associated Information Systems (IS) Certification and Accreditation (C&A) documents in accordance with Department of Defense (DoD), Intelligence Community (IC), National and Agency standards.
- Evaluate, observe, and document IS security certification testing and prepare Security Certification Test Reports (SCTRs) with findings and recommendations regarding systems; Obtain Approval To Operate (ATO).
- Inspect systems, networks, sites for compliance to InfoSec standards and policies.
- Produce periodic progress reports, prepare various forms of correspondence concerning deficiencies and statuses of SSPs/SSAAs, maintain and report statistics on personal C&A efforts.
Requirements
- High School Diploma.
- 1+ years of experience in the field or in a related area.
- Hands-on experience with networking technologies such as routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree.
- Familiarity with network vulnerability scanners, web scanners, and database scanners.
- CISSP, CISM, CCNA, CASP, or equivalent certifications.
Physical Requirements
The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Occasional movement about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and/or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
