About the role
We're looking for a Cyber Security Analyst who is passionate about defending digital assets and uncovering sophisticated threats. This role involves working on cutting-edge security challenges within the finance industry, making a real impact in safeguarding critical financial data and infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Leverage expertise to develop content and use cases that anticipate and counter cyber threats.
- Detail log parsing and advanced data analysis using regular expressions (RegEx).
- Utilize x86 assembly language knowledge, including experience with disassemblers and debuggers.
- Identify and neutralize malicious activities through static and dynamic malware analysis.
- Contribute to strengthening security posture and protecting against emerging cyber risks by collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Requirements
- Proven hands-on experience in content development and use-case management for cybersecurity.
- Strong proficiency in log parsing and data analysis, with advanced skills in regular expressions (RegEx).
- Solid knowledge of x86 assembly language, including experience with disassemblers and debuggers.
- Demonstrated expertise in static and dynamic malware analysis.
- Experience with code de-obfuscation, anti-analysis, and anti-forensic techniques.
- Proficiency in at least one compiled programming language (C or C++) and scripting languages such as Python or Perl.
- In-depth understanding of the TCP/IP protocol stack and network communications.
- Moderate to advanced knowledge of DDoS attack methodologies and mitigation strategies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Prior experience working within the finance sector.
Nice to have
- Additional certifications in cybersecurity or related fields.
- Familiarity with threat hunting tools and incident response procedures.
- Knowledge of scripting automation and orchestration frameworks.
- Experience with cloud security environments.
Preferred Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- At least 3-5 years of hands-on cybersecurity experience, specifically within financial services.
Other Requirements
- Certifications: OSCP (Offensive Security Certified Professional) and OSCE (Offensive Security Certified Expert) are mandatory.
- Willingness to stay current with evolving cyber threats and participate in ongoing training.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and respond promptly to security incidents.
