About the role
A Technical Security Risk Analyst is needed to support Government activities in McLean, VA. The role involves digital forensic analysis to identify CI issues, formulate policy, and provide case reviews.
Responsibilities
- Ensure networked systems and IT architecture align with established CI measures and safeguards
- Assist in formulating policy regarding CI/security requirements for Sponsor systems
- Make recommendations to Sponsor customers and components
- Conduct case reviews to ensure adherence to CI standards, policies, and procedures
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent combination of education, technical certifications, or work experience
- Minimum of 15 years related experience in Sponsor INFOSEC, A&A, risk assessments, cable writing, PED vulnerabilities, CI, and deployment of Sponsor IT technologies
- Demonstrated understanding of Sponsor's INFOSEC policies, regulations, and procedures for deployment and utilization of IT technologies
- Experience in Assessment & Authorization (A&A), risk assessment methodologies, information security, internet security, Portable Electronic Device (PED) vulnerabilities, threat analysis, and general user information security awareness
- Ability to write cables
- Effective communication skills to communicate proper procedures for secure IT technology deployment
- Understanding and experience with Sponsor's mission
