Cyber Security Analyst

About the role

This role focuses on monitoring security systems, investigating alerts, maintaining security documentation, and supporting the protection of company networks, systems, and sensitive information.

Responsibilities

• Maintain security documentation and audit records
• Support incident response and remediation activities
• Assist with user access management and security controls
• Perform vulnerability assessments and basic risk analysis
• Track security incidents and follow up on resolutions
• Support compliance and cybersecurity initiatives
• Collaborate with IT teams to improve system security
• Prepare reports and security summaries
• Support cybersecurity awareness activities
• Assist with special projects and administrative tasks

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred
• 0–2 years of experience in IT support, customer service, administration, or related roles
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities
• Basic knowledge of computer systems and cybersecurity concepts
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a remote environment

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
