Basic Qualifications

  • High School Diploma plus 6-13 years of relevant experience is required OR Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Software Engineering, or related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus 3-10 years of relevant experience is required OR Master’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Software Engineering, or related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus 3-8 years of relevant experience is required.

Experience

  • Defining and documenting a multi-year cyber-policy vision and strategy aligned with agency directives.
  • Building and maintaining quantitative metrics and interactive dashboards that track policy compliance and effectiveness.
  • Authoring baseline policy documents that became the organization’s reference standards.
  • Conducting gap analyses linking current capabilities to mission requirements and producing actionable policy briefs/white papers for senior leadership.
  • Mentoring junior analysts on research methods, policy-writing standards, and clearance handling while managing a version-controlled policy library.

Skills

  • Strong written communication skills; demonstrated ability to produce clear, concise policy documents for senior leadership.
  • Familiarity with DoD cyber policy frameworks and relevant statutory authorities.
  • Ability to work independently while coordinating across multiple stakeholder groups.
  • Analytical thinking for gap analysis and strategic foresight.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and facilitation skills.
  • Proficiency with document-management tools and version-control systems.
  • Understanding of emerging cyber threat trends and standards (e.g., NIST, ISO).

Desired Skills

  • Experience in a DoD, intelligence-community, or allied-nation cyber environment (preferred).

Work Description

The scope of this effort encompasses tasks that provide USCYBERCOM with the sustained ability to fulfill its mission to direct, synchronize, and coordinate cyberspace planning and operations to defend and advance national interests in collaboration with domestic and international partners. These tasks include coordinating, synchronizing, deconflicting, and integrating operational planning efforts for full-spectrum cyberspace operations. We are seeking professionals interested in a variety of responsibilities including:

THE WORK The anticipated award of this effort is Fall 2026. The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
