The Basic Qualifications for this role include:
- A High School Diploma plus 6-13 years of relevant experience
- A Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Software Engineering, or related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus 3-10 years of relevant experience
- A Master’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Software Engineering, or related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus 3-8 years of relevant experience
Experience
- Leading the full lifecycle of a cyberspace strategic plan, to include drafting sections of cyberspace plans
- Conducting gap analyses between current capabilities and mission requirements
- Producing policy briefs, white papers, and executive summaries for senior leadership
- Mentoring junior analysts on research methods, policy writing standards, and clearance handling
- Reviewing existing cyber policy, strategy documents, and statutory guidance
- Conducting basic research on emerging cyber threats, standards

- Must possess a current US Security Clearance TS/SCI w/ poly

Desired Skills
- Strong written communication skills; demonstrated ability to produce clear, concise policy documents for senior leadership
- Familiarity with DoD cyber policy frameworks, and relevant statutory authorities
- Ability to work independently while coordinating across multiple stakeholder groups
- Excellent stakeholder management and facilitation skills
- Proficiency with document-management tools and version-control systems
- Understanding of emerging cyber threat trends and standards (e.g., NIST, ISO)
- Experience in a DoD, intelligence-community, or allied-nation cyber environment (preferred)
