About the role

The AWS/CWI provides advanced technical oversight and ensures consistent application of visual inspection standards. They review and approve inspection procedures, interpret complex specifications, and make accept/reject decisions on critical components. Level III inspectors may serve as project leads, provide technical direction to lower-level inspectors, and liaise with engineering, quality, and client representatives.

Requirements

• CWI certification required
• Certification of American Petroleum Institute Standards 510/570 preferred
• 5–6 years’ experience or 4+ years on-site experience
• Additional API 653 certification a plus
• In-depth working knowledge of API 510/570 and ASME standards
• Experience working in direct support of petrochemical facility engineers
• Local to Corpus Christi, TX or South Texas
