About the Role

The Cath Lab Cardiovascular Technologist (CVT) monitors diagnostic and interventional coronary and peripheral catheterization procedures, ensures patient safety, and assists as a scrub technician under the supervision of the director or charge person.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in Cardiovascular Technology, Radiologic Technology, or Respiratory Therapy preferred, or a minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience.
• Certification as a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) required within 12 months of hire.
• Licensure options: Florida Certified Radiologic Technologist or Florida Registered Respiratory Therapist; ARRT certification preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.

• Ability to work effectively as part of a healthcare team.
