Cardiovascular Laboratory Technician - Full Time

About the Role

The Cath Lab Cardiovascular Technologist (CVT) monitors diagnostic and interventional coronary and peripheral catheterization procedures, ensuring patient safety and providing scrub assistance under the supervision of the director or charge person.

Responsibilities

• Assist with all procedures in the cath lab, ensuring safe patient care
• Monitor and support diagnostic and interventional studies
• Work as a scrub assistant during procedures

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in Cardiovascular Technology, Radiologic Technology, or Respiratory Therapy, or a minimum of five years of relevant experience
• Certifications: RCIS or RCES (required within 12 months if no degree in the field)
• Licenses: FL Certified Radiologic Technologist or FL Registered Respiratory Therapist (preferred)
• Valid BLS and ACLS certifications

Skills

• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
• Strong knowledge of cardiovascular procedures
• Ability to work in a team environment
