About the Role

The Cath Lab Cardiovascular Technologist (CVT) monitors diagnostic and interventional coronary and peripheral catheterization procedures, ensures patient safety, and assists as a scrub technician under the supervision of the director or charge person.

Responsibilities

• Monitor procedures and maintain safe patient care
• Assist as a scrub technician during procedures

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in Cardiovascular Technology, Radiologic Technology, or Respiratory Therapy, or a minimum of five years of related experience
• Certification as a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES), required within 12 months if no applicable degree
• FL Certified Radiologic Technologist or Registered Respiratory Therapist preferred; active licensure required

Skills & Certifications

• BLS and ACLS certification
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
