Responsibilities
- Process orders accurately and promptly, including customer and replenishment orders received via phone or email.
- Log into the customer service phone queue daily to answer incoming calls, respond to inquiries, place orders, and track shipments.
- Maintain inventory levels at terminals and plants to ensure product availability.
- Aid the dispatcher with loads, including carrier assignment and delivery coordination.
- Review manual bills of lading as required.
- Collaborate with Sales teams and Logistics to ensure smooth operations.
- Provide timely, factual responses to customer inquiries and complaints, escalating when necessary.
- Maintain high-quality standards on all calls and demonstrate strong knowledge of Quikrete Cement products and delivery methods.
- Prepare and maintain monthly reports as required.
- Support additional tasks within the Customer Value Center as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 1-3 years Account Management, Customer Service, Logistics industry experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with building materials and related products is an asset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Power BI, and CRM applications.
- Strong verbal and written English skills; bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
