Cutting/Marking
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Ability to read and understand cutting patterns.
- Knowledge of spreading material.
- Ability to set up table.
- Sorting and Bundling cut material to ensure sewing operators receive all components necessary to meet customer demand.
- Communication skills concerning production issues and how to resolve.
- Ability to cut materials with an electric knife through a pattern.
- Maintain 5S (cleaning & sorting) guidelines within your work area.
- Be a team player.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- One to three months related experience and/or training.
- Equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Able to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner.
- Develop alternative solutions.
- Keep emotions under control while under stressful situations.
- Speak clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations.
- Present numerical data effectively and accurately.
- Show respect and sensitivity for cultural differences.
- Promote a harassment-free environment.

Physical Demands
- The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.
