Description Summary

To accurately and efficiently cut, tag, pack and ship samples to customers.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Pull specified samples from stock
• Lay out fabric in correct rotation
• Operate saw to cut fabric to correct sample size
• Lay fabric for pinking machine
• Operate pinking machine to cut fabric to correct sample size
• Scan fabric into correct status
• Operate other machinery such as; rivet machine, drill press and grommet machine
• Tag samples
• Pack and ship samples

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent plus additional specialized training
• AS400 knowledge helpful

• In terms of an 8-hour workday, this position requires 6 hours sitting
• 2 hours standing
• Up to 2 hours bending/twisting

• 4 to 6 hours speaking
• 2 to 4 hours typing or CRT inputting

• Up to 2 hours simple grasping
• Up to 2 hours firm grasping
• Up to 2 hours fine dexterity
• 2 to 4 hours exposure to dust, fumes and/or gases
• 2 to 4 hours exposure to noise
• Up to 2 hours lifting (up to 40 lbs.)
• Both feet walking between buildings
• Simple grasping (up to 2 hours)
• Firm grasping (up to 2 hours)
• Fine dexterity (up to 2 hours)
